Downtown On Call
Sure they look outstanding in red, but they do way more than that. The Downtown On Call team is trained to deal with front line issues related to personal safety, hospitality and help create a positive social environment in Downtown Kelowna. And they look good doing it.
Downtown On Call covers a 42-square block radius, Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 9:30pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Whether it's providing information about community services, giving directions to tourists, escorting retail staff or customers to their vehicles, or providing emergency assistance, DOC team members are ready to assist when needed, making the Downtown area a great place to work, shop, live and visit. Did we mention they look sharp in red?
If you need assistance in the Downtown area, contact Downtown On Call at 250.470.9058
For more information on the DOC Program, please contact Ron Beahun, Manager On-Street Services.
In their bright green shirts, the Downtown Concierge act asambassadors for Downtown Kelowna from May until the end of August. This popular program creates a fun, inviting atmosphere for tourists and locals visiting the Downtown area.
The Downtown Concierge is stationed at their information booth in Kerry Park from Wednesday to Sunday to answer visitor and resident inquiries about Downtown Kelowna, and make recommendations for shopping, dining and entertainment. In May, you will meet the new Downtown Concierge team as they collect marketing materials (brochures, menus, etc.) for your business to be displayed in the Downtown Kelowna information booth. You are more than welcome to deliver these items to our office before May. Come visit us at 200-287 Bernard Ave.
