Downtown After 5
Arguably Kelowna’s best business casual mixer, Downtown Kelowna After 5 turns traditional networking into a chance to unwind and get to know your neighbours. These events routinely draw 200+ guests looking to socialize, network, share ideas, and have a great time ‘After 5’.
Winter Street Market
Winter Street Market & Light Up was held on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Over 17,000 people visited the Market, with Stuart Park filled to the brim for Light Up at 5:00pm! It was a wonderful day full of plenty of fun and magic.

Honey's Birthday Brunch with Ella & Honey
Honey turns 35 on October 11, and she is spending the actual day right where she should be — on stage, slightly worse for wear, and absolutely not slowing down.
Fresh from the party the night before, Honey takes the brunch stage alongside Ella Lamoureux for a morning of laughs, good food, and the particular glory of a birthday that refuses to end. Come eat, come cheer, come see what she has left in the tank.

Okanagan International Film Festival and Forum (2026)
Okanagan International Film Festival and Forum
Experience "A Gathering of Cinema, Culture and Creativity" at the Okanagan International Film Festival and Forum (OKIFF), taking place October 15–18, 2026, in the Okanagan region.
Presented by the nonprofit Okanagan TV & Film Industry Society, OKIFF brings independent Canadian and international cinema to the Okanagan. The festival showcases distinctive storytelling across narrative, documentary, short-form and experimental film categories, connecting global voices with local audiences through film screenings, an awards gala, filmmaker Q&As, local food and wine experiences, and interactive community events, a true community gathering rooted in cinema.

With film submissions received from across the globe, OKIFF is building a truly international platform, spotlighting the Okanagan as a growing destination for storytelling, cultural exchange and screen production.
The festival includes the Okanagan TV & Film Industry Forum, an industry-focused gathering that connects emerging talent with seasoned industry professionals. Through panels, speaker sessions, workshops and networking events, the Forum brings industry professionals together to exchange knowledge, build connections, and advance careers in TV and film. Next Generation Day on October 16 is also a great opportunity for High School and Post-Secondary students to learn about hundreds of viable career options in the TV and film industry.

Android for Beginners
Familiarize yourself with the basics of Android devices in this three-part course. Topics include learning about touch screens, device settings, and managing apps.
The course takes place every Thursday for three weeks. Please contact the downtown Kelowna library if you need help registering for the course.
