The Downtown on Call (DOC) program was launched in May of 2008, bringing all security and ambassador duties in-house.  The team in red uniforms are staff members of the Downtown Kelowna Association who truly believe that this is “our neighbourhood to share”.

Trained DOC staff cover a 42-square block radius between Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 9:30pm and Saturday from 11:00am to 7:00pm, ready to deal with front line issues related to auto and commercial property crime, safety, hospitality and the social environment in Kelowna's premier town centre.

Whether it's providing information about community services, giving directions to tourists, escorting staff or customers to their vehicles, or providing emergency assistance, DOC team members are ready to assist when needed, making the Downtown area the best place to work, shop, live and visit.
