Because we like you, here are some great perks.
One sure way to make happier customers is to offer discounted parking. In partnership with the City of Kelowna and Royal Bank of Canada, the Parking Token Program entitles your business to receive 20% off Get Around Downtown parking tokens. Each 25 cent token for a Downtown metered parking spot is a small way to say thanks to your customers for their business. Simply present your Downtown Kelowna membership confirmation letter to a teller at the Royal Bank of Canada Downtown location at 102-1665 Ellis St.
We love a clean Downtown, so working with businesses to ensure alleys and laneways are neat and tidy is very important to us. If you aren’t familiar with the City Bylaws around garbage disposal, click here to learn more.
Waste Connections of Canada Inc. provides a daily pickup service for garbage and recycling Downtown, simply reach out to Waste Connections to purchase garbage for $5 and recycling bags for $6 (pickup fee included). Waste Connections also has toters available for purchase for those businesses that can store them on private property. You can reach Waste Connections at 250.765.0565 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
When you're ready for pickup, in the early morning set out your full Waste Connections garbage and recycling bags, and stack your flattened cardboard neatly in your alley. It’s that easy.
While we would love to take credit for these other great programs, we just can't. It wouldn't be right.
Businesses that are interested in putting a bike rack in front of their own business can view the City of Kelowna's brochure.
