SMALL SHOP WEEKEND RETURNS APRIL 19-21, 2024!

Small Shop Weekend is a three-day promotion that celebrates and highlights the important role small businesses play in our community. What may seem like a small act of shopping local can make a HUGE impact by keeping jobs and dollars in Downtown Kelowna.

Visit participating businesses for special events, in-store specials and more. PLUS: enter the Shop Local & WIN Contest, featuring a Grand Prize Package valued at over $500 and other fantastic prizes from our generous sponsors.

BUSINESS REGISTRATION FOR SMALL SHOP

If you’d like to register your business to participate in Small Shop Weekend, please click the green button (link) below.

Registrations will be accepted until Monday, April 8, 2024, no exceptions.

SHOP LOCAL & WIN CONTEST

You can Shop Local & WIN just by supporting any of the participating Downtown Kelowna businesses. Spend a min. of $10 at any Small Shop location and follow these steps:

- Save your receipt for purchases of min. $10.
- Take a photo of your receipt.
- Visit the Shop Local & WIN Contest Entry Page by either going directly to the URL or by scanning the QR code on the back of the Shop Local & WIN tent card.
- Complete the online entry form and UPLOAD a copy of your receipt.
- Submit your entry!

One receipt = one entry. Therefore, multiple entries to the contest are permitted, provided that each entry is accompanied by a unique receipt.

Entries with valid receipts from purchases made April 19-21 will be accepted until Wednesday, April 24.

The contest opens on Friday, April 19; the winner(s) will be announced on Friday, April 26. Click here for Contest Rules.

DRIVING DOWNTOWN FOR SMALL SHOP?

Fri, April 19: Regular parking fees and time restrictions apply.
Sat, April 20: Enjoy the first 2 hours of on-street parking FREE! Time restrictions apply beyond the 2 hours; use the pay-by-phone app or any pay station. Drivers must register license plate with the meter.
Sun, April 21: On-street parking is FREE.

NOTE: Parking in any of the three City-owned parkades is FREE every Saturday & Sunday.
